Discount platformI'm working on a rare opportunity with a business in Corby who has a very low staff turnover and a strong PPM schedule in place to reduce reactive breakdowns and increase machinery performance and efficiency. Working alongside a team, this role will provide variety as well as structure.
Roles/Responsibilities
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a weekly basis
Provide mechanical and/or electrical fault finding and repair on production/processing machinery
Support production by ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently
Undertake general site maintenance and first-line repairs
Liaise with external contractors for specialist or major repair work when required
Maintain and repair Lamination lines, wrappers, moulding machinery, peelers, granulators, shredders, splicers and baggers.What We're Looking For
A multiskilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
A recognized engineering qualification
Experience in an industrial sector
Availability to work night shiftsFAQs:
How often is the night shift?
This role includes a day shifts (6am-2pm) mon-fri and a nights shift (8pm-6am) Mon-thurs rotating weekly
How is overtime paid?
Overtime is paid at a rate of x1.5 if done during the week or on a Saturday and paid at double time if completed on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.
How soon can I get started?
This company is looking to interview in early January and will involve a maximum of 2 stages.
Is this role suitable for my bias?
