Our client is a global leader who are in need of a Junior Electrical Engineer in the design and manufacture of advanced automated machinery used by producers of fasteners, engine valves, and other high-performance industrial components. They innovate, engineer, and support bespoke systems trusted by world-class manufacturers.
The Junor Electrical Engineer to develop, integrate, and support custom‑built automated machines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PLC/HMI programming, electrical control system design, and machine commissioning, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Job Responsibilities
* Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing equipment.
* Conduct testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and full machine commissioning.
* Provide technical support and problem‑solving both on‑site at customer facilities and remotely via email/web access.
* Work effectively with UK and international suppliers to source components and coordinate project requirements.
Experience Required
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Basic knowledge of Siemens and/or Rockwell Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and servo motion systems.
* Organised, detail‑oriented, and methodical work approach.
