Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse ready to take on a varied and rewarding challenge? Join our team as a Rotational Nurse, a unique rotational role that allows you to work across multiple departments within our referral hospital.
As a Rotational Nurse, you'll rotate around many areas of the hospital:
* ward areas
* imaging to support sedations
* oncology
* theatre
Working as part of the hospital nursing team to provide support to all clinical services and helping to support the flow of cases through each department.
These roles give the successful candidates an opportunity to explore the referral hospital and expand on referral experience and knowledge. We are looking for dynamic and hard-working nurses who are willing to move around the hospital, under the direction of the Nursing Management and head nurse teams. These roles would be ideal for someone that is wanting to work in the referral setting without selecting one specialism.
We are ideally looking for a nurse with at least 1-year experience as a qualified nurse.
Previous experience in a referral environment is desirable but not essential.
You will be involved with teaching and supervision of Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing undergraduates on clinical rotations.
Flexibility will be necessary as the post will require participation in the OOH rota, to include some weekend work.
Full-time, permanent role hours: 40 hours per week
Part-time, temporary role hours: 34.33 hours per week (12 month contract)
