Global Logistics Coordinator - Remote (Horsham U.K. based)
Hourly Rate: £15.20 per hour
Are you an organised and detail-oriented administrator with a knack for problem-solving? We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Logistics Coordinator to provide crucial support to our client's logistics operations. While this role offers the flexibility of remote work, you'll need to be within a 1-hour commute of RH12 4QD for occasional on-site visits to Horsham, U.K.
The Opportunity
As a Global Logistics Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of the Global Logistics Helpdesk, a vital support function for our client's Clinical Services business within their CTD division. This team provides essential support for all shipments within their network that utilize their courier billing accounts and is also responsible for managing Clinical Site to Patient shipment requests.
The EMEA team collaborates globally with US and APAC teams under the CTD Total Transportation Management group. You'll specifically focus on supporting shipments originating in the EMEA region for studies managed by their EMEA sites, which may include returns from other locations. This involves everything from track and trace support and escalation management to returns management and providing routing guidance.
You'll operate on a rotational system, supporting various aspects of the EMEA Global Logistics Helpdesk, including:
Reverse Logistics: Creating shipping documents, arranging collections of clinical trial material for return, and proactive track and trace with problem-solving.
Proactive Support: Responding to calls and emails from internal Distribution Project Management Group, external clients, and Clinical Trial investigator sites. This includes working with approved couriers to track in-transit shipments, proactively resolving issues, and escalating when necessary.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Supporting the success of a reuse program
Creating shipping documents in line with GDP.
Following all departmental and company SOPs, WIs, and other compulsory items to ensure GxP compliance.
Receiving and diligently managing calls/emails from internal and external stakeholders, recording issues in the Global Logistics Helpdesk Service Management system.
Ensuring all received communications are resolved with a high level of customer service.
Proactively tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery within service level agreements.
Client reporting and accurate order data entry.
Actively participating in team meetings and relevant calls.
Supporting internal customer needs and escalating urgent matters to the Supervisor.
Completing all compulsory training.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
GCSE or equivalent.Experience/Skills:
Previous administrative experience is essential, preferably within logistics.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Flexible and adaptable.
High attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Capable of working under pressure and supporting team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with remote working is beneficial.
Knowledge of distribution track and trace is an advantage, but not essential.Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Hours
Core hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM U.K.
