Salary: Up to £38'000 per annum (DOE) plus sleep in and overtime

We’re recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join established children’s homes across South Wales. This is a meaningful role supporting children and young people who have experienced early trauma, adversity, and instability. You’ll help create a stable, nurturing environment where they can feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Building positive, trusting relationships with young people and their families
* Supporting the Registered Manager with staff development, supervision, and team performance
* Helping create a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment
* Identifying safeguarding concerns and following child protection procedures
* Supporting young people’s wellbeing, education, identity, and independence
* Contributing to behaviour support plans and risk‑management strategies
* Promoting participation in leisure, hobbies, and developmental activities
What We’re Looking For
* QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People)
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a care setting
* A caring, resilient, and dependable nature
* Strong communication and professional boundaries
* Motivation to empower young people towards independence
* Aged 22+ to maintain appropriate age gaps
* Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
