This role is ideal for experienced educators or ECTs with a passion for physical education. Role Overview: As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages, promoting fitness, resilience, and teamwork. You’ll play a key role in nurturing a positive attitude towards physical health and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver a range of physical education activities in line with the national curriculum. Inspire students to participate actively, regardless of ability or experience. Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and school competitions. Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback to aid improvement. Ensure health and safety standards are consistently upheld during all activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall PE curriculum and school ethos. Candidate Requirements: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PE specialism or a relevant degree. Strong knowledge of physical education. A passion for sport, fitness, and student development. Experience running school sports events or enrichment activities is an advantage. Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills. A flexible, proactive attitude to supporting all learners.
