Responsibilities
* Production of brokers documentation in accordance with client requirements and broker instruction, under the supervision of the Senior Technician and Broker Support Manager
* Production of client documentation in accordance with terms agreed with the Underwriter under the supervision of the Senior Technician and Broker Support Manager;
* To handle client enquiries by telephone, correspondence or email in a timely fashion;
* Maintain proper files and records;
* To obtain a good working knowledge of the companies computer systems;
* To take responsibility for the day to day management of work loads and the meeting deadlines
* To comply at all times with the companies' policies and procedures;
* To understand and implement market initiatives;
* To provide assistance to other departments when necessary (e.g. Accounts and Claims).
* In addition, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Broking Support Manager, as required by the needs of the business.
Knowledge and Experience Required
1. Developing knowledge of marine insurance and the London and overseas markets.
