Modern Workplace Engineer | Hybrid (Belfast) | Competitive Salary + Benefits
We're working with a leading organisation seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to help drive their digital transformation journey. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure.
You'll play a key part in delivering Microsoft 365 migrations, implementing robust security and compliance solutions, and supporting a mix of cloud and on-premise technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams Phone)
* Support hybrid environments including Windows Server, VMWare, AVD, and Windows 10/11
* Implement and manage tools such as Entra ID, Intune, MFA, Microsoft Defender, and Conditional Access
* Maintain backup and disaster recovery platforms (Azure Site Recovery, VEEAM, Acronis, Datto)
* Manage firewalls and networks (Fortinet, Watchguard, Cisco, Aruba)
* Automate processes using PowerShell
* Deliver 3rd-line support and collaborate across teams to enhance digital workplace experiences
What We're Looking For:
* 3+ years' experience in M365 migrations and infrastructure support
* Solid understanding of Microsoft security and compliance tools
* Experience with PowerShell, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender
* Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach
Desirable:
* Microsoft certifications (MS-500, AZ-104, etc.)
* Experience in MSP or customer-facing environments
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
