Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Security Officer to work at NHS Golden Jubilee as part of a well-established team. You will carry out a full range of security duties as specified in the job description ensuring at all times that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to for the safety of patients, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Operate CCTV in the control room
* Operate the card access system
* Undertake regular patrols of the site
* Locking and unlocking duties
* Mail duties
* Deal with car park issues
* Assist in implementing the smoke-free policy
* Attend to incidents to de-escalate violence and aggression
* And other duties as required
Qualifications and skills
* No formal qualifications are necessary; training will be provided
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to develop effective working relationships across a wide range of personnel
* Working knowledge of security would be an advantage
Hours
Working hours are subject to change in line with Golden Jubilee\'s reduced working week. Hours to be confirmed: 0700–1442 hours, 36-hour week.
