Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Requirements Manager with a strong systems engineering background to support safety-critical programmes in Bristol. The role focuses on managing, structuring, and controlling requirements across complex engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain requirements across the full systems lifecycle
* Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and verifiable
* Ensure alignment with system design and stakeholder needs
* Lead requirements reviews and support technical decision-making
* Work closely with systems, design, and delivery teams
* Support compliance with engineering standards and project governance
Qualifications
Required Skills:
* Strong systems engineering background
* Proven experience in requirements management
* Experience working in safety-critical or regulated environments (defence, aerospace, nuclear, rail, etc.)
* Eligible for UK Security Clearance
Required Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
* Requirements enrichment experience (breaking down high-level requirements into detailed, usable system requirements)
* Experience using requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Jama)
