Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised tuition tailored to each students individual SEN needs
Plan and adapt lessons to suit learning styles, abilities, and emotional needs
Support students with engagement, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
Manage and respond calmly to behavioural or emotional challenges
Track progress and provide feedback to parents, carers, or commissioning bodies
Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working as an SEN tutor, teacher, or support professional
Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Patient, empathetic, and confident working with vulnerable young people
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliable and able to commit consistently to agreed sessions
