Your new role
You’ll be responsible for overseeing cost and risk management across projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality andpliance with contract conditions. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll assess financial viability, manage subcontractor relationships, and producemercial reports to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and mitigate project costs and risks
2. Ensure accurate financial reporting and control
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project viability
4. Preparemercial reports and CVRs
5. Oversee procurement and subcontractor negotiations
6. Manage applications for payment and site measurements
What you'll need to succeed
7. Experience with a main contractor
8. Strong knowledge of NEC / JCT contracts
9. Proven track record inmercial management of construction projects
10. Confidence in stakeholder engagement
11. Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
12. Full UK Driving Licence
