We are the internal HR and recruitment partner with Living Sport, an independent charity focussed on improving the health, happiness, and wellbeing of the people of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Marketing & Communications Officer
1. Are you a creative, digitally savvy marketer looking to step up and make a real impact? Living Sport is on the lookout for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join their passionate team, driving campaigns that inspire healthier, more active communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
2. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone currently in a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive role who’s ready for more ownership, more variety, and the chance to work on meaningful projects that genuinely change lives.

3. Living Sport is a charity dedicated to improving health, wellbeing and access to physical activity. Your work will directly support community programmes, health initiatives, funding opportunities and CSR partnerships — helping more people get active and stay well.
4. You’ll be the engine behind their digital presence, content creation, design output and campaign delivery, working across both Living Sport and the Healthy You service.
What You’ll Be Doing
Digital & Data
5. Using insight tools to track performance, report on KPIs and shape data-led decisions.
6. Managing and maintaining the CRM.
Creative & Content
7. Designing eye-catching marketing materials (newsletters, case studies, posters, flyers, social assets, videos).
8. Creating compelling written and visual content that tells the story of Living Sport’s impact.
9. Supporting website updates and general maintenance
Campaigns & Partnerships
10. Helping deliver multi-channel campaigns for both Living Sport and Healthy You.
11. Working with external partners, agencies and media contacts to amplify reach.
12. Supporting B2C engagement and some B2B activity, particularly with newsletters and email marketing
Events & Projects
13. Assisting with the organisation of key events — from conferences to community activities.
14. Managing timelines, priorities and project workflows to keep everything running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
15. Experience in a marketing role (assistant/executive level ideal).
16. Strong digital marketing skills — SEO, PPC, social media, email automation.
17. Confident with analytics tools and insight reporting.
18. Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
19. Good design skills — Canva essential; video editing a bonus.
20. Experience with CRM
21. Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
22. A creative, proactive mindset with strong communication skills.
23. Charity or purpose-led sector experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
24. Comfortable working across both B2C and B2B audiences.
Working Style & Benefits
25. Basic Salary between £27,000 and £30,000
26. Hybrid — minimum 2 days per week in the St Ives office
