Overview:
We are looking for an experienced bar manager to join our small team at Fish Tales The bar itself is manned by one person only, and so this role does not require bar personnel management and is, almost exclusively, a restaurant service bar.
This role requires someone who is predominantly bar-orientated, but is also confident on the floor, as much of the job requires a bit of everything FOH.
You will be encouraged to complete stock checks and ordering, updating and changing both wine and cocktail menus (of which you will have huge influence and control), keeping a clean and orderly bar service area, and must also assist in completing cash-ups and venue closing when required.
As we are a very small, tight-knit team, we are looking for the right person and attitude to join our relatively new seafood restaurant - of which has exceptional reviews and feedback. It is a huge benefit if you have good wine knowledge, however not a deal-breaker. Cocktail knowledge is also important, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
