Finance Assistant

The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key part in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations and month-end processes. From managing purchase ledgers to supplier reconciliations, you'll help ensure the smooth running of the finance function while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and managing accounts inboxes.
2. Processing purchase ledger invoices (3-way match).
3. Completing monthly supplier reconciliations.
4. Identifying and resolving invoice or payment queries.
5. Processing subcontractor invoices.
6. Assisting with month-end payment runs.
7. Supporting the wider finance team as required.
8. General administrative duties.
What We're Looking For:
9. 2+ years' finance experience (construction or facilities management background desirable).
10. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
11. Previous experience using Sage, Xero, or equivalent software.
12. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
13. A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
