We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a working foreman. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective management and supervision of projects, utilising your expertise to enhance project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing teams, ensuring that all project objectives are met efficiently. Projects mostly residential with contract values around £250,000+vat.
Duties
* Oversee project planning and scheduling, ensuring timelines are adhered to.
* Manage and supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor project progress, identifying any potential issues and implementing solutions proactively.
* Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss project updates, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
* Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Skills
* Must have a strong trade in either carpentry or bricklaying.
* Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* Previous supervising experience is essential, demonstrating your capability to manage personnel effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members and stakeholders.
