Our client has grown to provide all Groundwork and Civil Engineering services across the UK and Ireland from our Northern Ireland office, delivering services to some of the world's biggest construction companies.
The Role & Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, we seek an Operations / Contracts Manager to oversee operations and contracts management, develop the senior management team from pre-contract to project completion, and manage the following responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
* Extensive project management experience in civils/water environments and knowledge of contract conditions.
* Understanding of CDM regulations, design management, programme, risk management, and cost control including forecasting.
* Experience with MS Project, team development, and training.
* Knowledge of various contract types, including Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms.
* Educational qualification: minimum HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent.
* CSCS card and experience with Pre-Qualification and Tendering processes for multi-discipline projects.
* Excellent people management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Desirable: CEng, MICE, or equivalent, NEBOSH construction certificate, experience with construction software and fostering a lean culture.
