Part Time Teaching Assistant - Severn Beach (BS35) An extremely well-respected primary school in South Gloucestershire are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to promote and support classroom learning for SEN pupils in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring teachers to initiate their career in education and to gain an understanding of the National Curriculum. Mainstream Primary School £13.85 per hour, including holiday pay 21 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only Inset days) Tuesday- Friday, 9am-2.45pm Ongoing role, subject to continued funding and child remaining in the schoolDuties of the Teaching Assistant role Working with individual learners with EHCP in the classroom on a 1:1 basis Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom. Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
