Our Cleanliness staff played an essential role in fighting the global pandemic and are responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital site.

The key purpose of the role is to provide a high‑quality comprehensive cleanliness service, working to exceptionally high documented cleaning standards within Wards and Departments in a Hospital setting. To encompass specialist cleaning duties.
You will work alongside all service users and ensure that approved documented cleaning standards and frequencies are always maintained. Being prepared to work in any area across the Trust site.

Location
The Isle of Wight is a unique and stunning gem located off the South Coast of England, a short ferry journey from Portsmouth and Southampton, with journey times taking from as little as 10 minutes. London can be reached in 90 minutes by rail from Southampton or Portsmouth. Responsibilities
* Work alongside all service users and ensure that approved documented cleaning standards and frequencies are maintained at all times. Be prepared to work in any area across the Trust site.
* Act as soon as possible in response to any request for Barrier Cleans.
* Carry out Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour and Ultra Violet Light in the C Spectrum decontaminations on request (following approved training).
* Complete all relevant documentation.
* Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly used and kept spotlessly clean at all times. Report to Cleanliness Supervisor any cleaning equipment problems.
* Liaise with Cleanliness Supervisors regarding cleaning equipment and cleanliness stock levels, to ensure sufficient cleaning materials are always available, and check dates on items.
* Any other duties and responsibilities determined by the Operational Cleaning Manager, within the parameters of the post.
