Working closely with teachers, therapists and care teams, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils to access learning, communication and therapies throughout the school dayProviding hands-on personal care, including hygiene routines, toileting and changing, in line with safeguarding and dignity standardsAssisting with mobility needs, including using specialist equipment and following manual handling guidelinesEncouraging independence, boosting self-esteem and helping each learner achieve their personal goalsSupporting inclusion in lessons and activities such as swimming, outings, and riding sessionsActing as a link worker, advocating for the individual needs of a learner and sharing updates with the wider team Every day is different
