SEN Teacher Salary: £32,916-£45,352 Permanent | Full Time | Term Time Only 40 hours per week Inspire, Support and Transform Learning Simply Education is working with a specialist independent SEN provision to recruit a compassionate and ambitious Lead Science Teacher to support young people aged 7-19 who may be disengaged from mainstream education. About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you'll work with learners in small groups across specialist learning environments. You'll plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences tailored to individual needs, interests and goals. Working closely with colleagues, you'll help learners progress academically, socially and emotionally while promoting wellbeing, inclusion and safety at all times. What You'll Be Responsible For Planning and delivering personalised learning programmes and schemes of work Using creative and varied teaching approaches to maximise engagement Supporting learners with a range of additional needs Advocating for young people and involving them in their learning journey Maintaining safeguarding, health and safety and risk management standards Supporting learner profiles, assessments, progress tracking and reports Contributing to curriculum development and improvement planning Maintaining accurate records, including EHCP and transition documentation Continuing your own professional development and SEN best practice What We're Looking For Be passionate about SEN and learner-centred education Thrive in a flexible and creative teaching environment Build positive relationships with learners, families and colleagues Be reflective, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement Skills and Experience Required Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) SEN teaching experience preferred Relevant Level 6 qualification Why Join Us?
