School Administrative and Research Support Officer, School of Geography, Faculty of Environment
Salary: Grade 5(£27,644 - £31,637p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you able to demonstrate a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative? Are you fully competent using Microsoft Office 365 with the ability to manage email and Internet effectively?
Working as part of a small team, you will proactively undertake administrative duties to ensure the School Administrative Office provides a professional, responsive and efficient service at all times. The School Admin Office supports the research and non-teaching activity of the School. As a senior member of the team, you will undertake day-to-day supervision of work tasks undertaken by the School Administrative Assistant/s. The School’s administrative support team will also receive visitors in a polite and professional manner and respond to routine enquiries in a timely fashion. You will work collegiately with team members, taking responsibility for ensuring a system is in place to keep the School Administrative Support Office staffed at all times during office hours.
Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role is not suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants.
