Health & Safety Manager – Construction Location: South Birmingham Salary: £45,000 + car allowance + private medical Job type: Permanent, full-time A well-established construction and building maintenance company is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team. The business delivers a wide range of projects across commercial, education, NHS, and local authority sectors and has a directly employed workforce of around 50 people. This role is office and site based with no hybrid/home working. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and update Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Construction Phase Plans • Compile and manage project Health & Safety completion files • Manage and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications • Oversee all Health & Safety and environmental accreditations and compliance • Carry out regular site inspections and audits, reporting on findings and improvements • Manage PPE supplies and ensure correct usage across the workforce • Lead on the Health & Safety training regime for employees Requirements • Minimum 5 years’ Health & Safety experience • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualifications • Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and audit requirements • Confident carrying out inspections, audits, and compliance checks • Full UK driving licence Benefits • Salary £45,000 - £50,00...
