An opportunity has arisen for a District Nurse with the specialist practitioner qualification to join the Community District Nursing team in South Hambleton & North Ryedale.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, innovative and committed District Nurse with experience of caseload management and multidisciplinary working, together with excellent communication skills, resilience and great leadership skills.
Main duties of the job
You will have the ability to motivate and support others through change in order to enable us to maintain the delivery of high quality, compassionate, proactive and safe care.
The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy.

Skills & Attributes
* Leadership and supervisory skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Effective organisational, managerial and time management skills
* Ability to demonstrate good communication skills
* Understanding of clinical audit
Education, Qualifications & Training
* Registered General Nurse, Registered with the NMC
* Degree in Community health care nursing
* Training in HR policies or willing to attend HR training
* IT skills/qualifications (ECDL)
* Mentorship Assessor qualification or equivalent
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience in a community nursing setting
* Evidence of caseload management
* Experience of triage
