Role Description
Step into a pivotal role within our Mission Systems division, leading a groundbreaking programme to deliver a new class of submarine in a dynamic production environment. Drive delivery safely, on time, within budget, meeting superior quality standards. Collaborate to improve skills and deliver the project.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility of the delivery of several pieces of equipment, implementing best practices in scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement, working with stakeholders from across the team and wider business to drive delivery momentum and achieve project goals.
Experience and Skills
* Knowledge of project controls tools and how they operate to provide key information for decision making.
* Excellent computer literacy.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and external bodies.
* Commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mind‑set.
* Leadership experience.
* Project Management experience.
Qualifications
* PFQ or PMQ (desirable) or equivalent.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who can achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Eligibility may be affected by birthplace, nationality, former citizenship and residency.
