Main duties of the job
As a key member of our Commercial Directorate, you'll lead the end-to-end bid process - from identifying opportunities through to final submission.
You will:
* Lead the preparation, coordination and submission of high-quality bids and tender responses
* Work closely with clinical, operational and corporate experts to build strong, compliant proposals
* Translate complex specifications into clear, structured and persuasive responses
* Ensure all submissions meet procurement requirements and evaluation criteria
* Manage multiple bid workstreams and internal stakeholders to deliver on time
* Prepare executive summaries, presentations and board papers for internal governance
* Maintain bid documentation, templates and tracking systems
* Lead post-submission reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

* 2+ years' experience of bid writing
* Strong written communication and document preparation skills
* Experience interpreting detailed specifications and preparing structured responses
* NHS / Healthcare market experience
* Awareness and understanding of commissioning processes and landscape
