Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Looked After Children Team for Achieving for Children.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of Looked After Children, ensuring their needs are assessed and appropriate care plans are implemented.
* Undertake statutory visits and maintain consistent engagement with children, young people, and their carers.
* Complete high-quality assessments, pathway plans, and permanency plans to support long-term stability.
* Prepare reports for statutory reviews, court proceedings, and planning meetings where required.
* Work in partnership with foster carers, residential services, education, and health professionals.
* Support children and young people in achieving positive outcomes in relation to education, health, and emotional wellbeing.
* Provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced staff within the team where appropriate.

* Hybrid working
Pay Rate:
* £39.04 p/h Umb
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care
* Significant experience working with Looked After Children
* Social Work England Registration
* Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, including Children Act 1989 and care planning regulations
