Fundraiser - Marketing and Communications
We are seeking an experienced and creative individual to join our Fundraising and Marketing Team, bringing initiative and expertise to help drive our charity’s mission forward.
This is a key role in the success of our efforts in raising funds and awareness, allowing us to provide outstanding end-of-life care for adults and support for their families and carers.
As part of this integral team, you will take the lead on developing marketing plans, coordinating events, and building relationships with supporters. You’ll also support the Head of Fundraising in identifying new opportunities to grow our resources and expand our impact across the community and delivering on the strategy for income generation.

Role: Fundraiser - Marketing and Communications
Location: Valley Court, Dalston – with some flexibility for hybrid work and flexible hours
Salary: £30,088.50 per annum (£15.43 per hour)
* Educated to A-Level or equivalent in marketing, communication and / or a proven track record in a similar role or a related field
* Proven ability to manage successful campaigns and events
* Skilled in digital marketing, social media platforms & scheduling tools, website management systems, data collation and analysis
* Good working knowledge of the charity / not for profit sector
* Excellent computer skills covering Microsoft packages, Canva, Adobe, Mailchimp, WordPress and more
* Exceptional, rounded communication and networking skills
* Ability to be flexible to the needs of the service which will include some evening and weekend working from time to time to support events
* Full clean UK driving licence and own transport
* Certifications as a First Aider and Fire Warden (or be willing to train)
* Experience in project management
* Educated to degree level in a relevant field
* Professional certification in fundraising or marketing
* Knowledge of the geographic area covered by the services
* Knowledge of healthcare and / or end of life care
* Current knowledge & understanding of Health & Safety regulations relevant to the role
* Experience of working with volunteers
