Rolls-Royce is looking for individuals with a strong background in Systems Design & Integration to join the team in Derby.
Our Systems Design & Integration engineers are responsible for problem resolution, defining requirements, and designing and integrating products & systems. They perform concept-level technical analysis to verify potential solutions.

What you'll be doing:
* Applying understanding of NSRP and broader nuclear product operations, systems, subsystems, and managing interfaces.
* Designing systems using Systems Engineering principles, including Robust Design tools & techniques for optimal solutions at the product and subsystem levels.
* Managing and flowing system-level requirements effectively.
* Planning and managing product changes, technical approvals, and investigations.
* Verifying system compliance with requirements and preparing standardization reports.
* Communicating effectively across all levels, including with customers, and influencing stakeholders.
* Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, including remote teams.
Who we are looking for:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
* Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and cross-disciplinary concepts such as manufacturing, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering, and product definition.
* Logical, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to make balanced decisions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary environments.
* Membership of a relevant professional body.
