Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do. Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’. We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards! We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Who will you be supporting?

We’re a close-knit group of four housemates aged between 40 and 68, each with our own unique personalities, interests, and support needs. Living together in our warm and friendly home in St Helens, we value respect, kindness, and a good sense of humour.

What makes our home special is how different we all are – and how well we support each other. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet moment, sharing a laugh, or getting out and about, we each bring something unique to the house.

Our dedicated support team is trained in areas such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, and Moving & Positioning. They’re not just skilled – they’re compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping us live life to the fullest.

What is important to us?

Living life on our terms – We choose how we spend our time and love getting out and about in our car, making the most of every moment.

Staying connected – Communication with our families is really important. For two of us, our support team is our family, and we rely on them for emotional and practical support.

Enjoying meaningful activities – Whether it’s exploring the community or trying something new, we believe in living the best life possible.

Keeping to routines – Structure helps us thrive, and we appreciate support workers who understand and respect that.

Kindness above all – We get along with anyone who’s kind, respectful, and supportive of our needs. Encouragement to try new adventures is always welcome!

Other Important Information?

We have at least 2 core staff throughout the day and 2 core staff throughout the night.

The shifts vary depending on our day to day plans but currently the shifts are 8am – 8pm and 8pm to 8am. Alternative shifts can be considered.

We need a staff team who are good listeners, encouraging, ready to go through training to build knowledge and how to support us.

Your values:
