About the Roles
Working at Novita, you will beresponsible for providing evidenced based assessment and intervention services that enhance the lives of our clients.By assisting children, teenagers and adults who are experiencing sensory issues or challenges with their movement, play, personal care, sleep, vision, independent living skills (such as shopping or transport), you willwork as part of a team to assist clients and their families in achieving their goals and maximising their potential.
As an innovative, self-motivatedOccupational Therapistyou will:
* Managea caseload involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of appropriate assistive technology or home modification solutions for both adults and children
* Select, applyand evaluatethe effectiveness of interventions and their ability to meet goals and objectives
* Integrateoccupational therapy services with other Novita services to support a multi-disciplinary approach and liaising with and engaging in decision making, client reviews, planning sessions, program conferences and other appropriate meetings
* Provideorientation and performance feedback to occupational therapists under your supervision
* Actively workwith clients and their families to understand their goals and how they relate to our service delivery, and contributeto NDIS service planning as required
* Attendrelevant professional development and continuing education programmes to ensure your currency of knowledge within clinical practice
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Along with AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, to be successful in this role you will have:
* Experience in a range of occupational therapy interventions, including the ability toadapt established occupational therapy assessments and interventions to meet client needs
* Knowledge of inclusive practices, and child and family-centered practices
* Experience in working with clients with high and complex needs and the ability to support other clinicians in developing these skills
* Experience in supervision, management and development of other health professionals in the clinical setting
* Ability to communicate effectively with and support customers, children, parents and staff
* Ability to generalise therapy goals within multiple natural environments
* Drive, passion and commitment to your work and Novita's purpose
* A commitment to continuing professional development

Remuneration Package and Benefits
Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
