Responsibilities
As the Children's Practice Development Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing practice frameworks and guidelines to enhance service delivery.
* Leading training sessions and workshops for social work staff, promoting continuous professional development.
* Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a cohesive approach to safeguarding and child welfare.
* Monitoring and evaluating practice standards, providing feedback and guidance to improve outcomes for children.
* Contributing to strategic planning and policy development within the children's services sector.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Significant post-qualification experience in children's social work, including supervisory or leadership roles.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and best practices in child protection and welfare.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
