A high-volume, all-day restaurant operation in Oxford is looking for a Senior Restaurant Manager to lead from the front. The role:
* Lead daily operations across a busy, multi-faceted restaurant environment
* Be highly visible on the floor - driving standards, service and energy across every shift
* Build, coach and develop a strong management and front of house team
* Take full ownership of guest experience, resolving feedback and driving repeat business
* Manage rotas, staffing levels and recruitment to meet business demand
* Oversee reservations strategy to maximise covers without compromising quality
* Control stock, wastage and costs across bar and restaurant operations
* Work closely with the kitchen team to align on service, standards and performance
* Run structured team briefings and regular performance reviews
* Monitor financial performance and drive profitability across all areas
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety and operational procedures
The person:
* Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar in a high-volume setting
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and hold teams accountable
* Commercially aware with solid understanding of cost control and revenue optimisation
* Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
