As a Paid Content Creator you will be at the forefront of our paid advertising strategy, creating high-performing short-form ads that drive customer engagement and conversions. You'll design compelling video creatives for Meta, TikTok, and Google, optimising content for different platforms and placements. This role is a blend of strategy and execution, where you'll stay ahead of trends in the advertising industry, working with strategists and analysts to ensure our ads remain fresh, engaging, and results-driven. You'll work closely with our brand team to maintain a strong, consistent voice while continually testing, learning, and iterating based on performance insights. Shoot days are jam-packed and fast paced, so efficiency is key for capturing and building a strong library of content. Your creativity will be instrumental in bringing our campaigns to life - whether you're directing actors, in-house talent or members of the public. Back at the desk, you'll manage your own edits, delivering multiple assets on time ready to be used in our campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

* Create high-performing short-form video ads for Meta, TikTok and Google.
* Plan and attend shoot days, capturing and building a strong library of content.
* Design creatives in various dimensions and formats, optimised for different placements.
* Understand the difference between organic and paid content and how to tailor accordingly.
* Stay ahead of trends in the ad industry, bringing fresh, insight-backed ideas.
* Monitor content performance and make data-driven recommendations.
* Use tools like Motion (or be willing to learn!) to analyse and iterate.
* Collaborate closely with the Brand team to maintain on-brand, compelling content.


Qualifications & Experience

* A strong understanding of the difference between organic content and performance-led ads.
* Proactive approach—plugged into trends and what's working across platforms.
* Ability to design across multiple dimensions (stories, reels, feed, YouTube Shorts, banners, etc.).
* Confident in storyboarding and shooting—with or without direct supervision.
* Experience reviewing creative using tools like Motion or similar (desirable but not essential).
* Proficient using basic video editing platforms (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, etc.).
* Proficient using video and audio equipment (iPhone, DSLR, mics, etc.).
* A fast-paced, high-energy mindset, with a drive to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
* Experience creating paid social ads that convert (especially Meta, TikTok and Google).


Bonus Points

* Have worked in pet, wellness, or DTC e-commerce.
* Are confident appearing on camera.
* Can create static ads as as video.
* Understand UGC-style ads and can recreate them natively.
* Have a passion for dogs - or even have your own!
