Job Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Support children in daily activities, including education, leisure, and personal care.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers and educators.
* Document and report on the progress and needs of each child.
* Engage in training and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
2. Relevant qualifications in childcare, social work, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare).
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
5. Understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
