Working closely with an established and well-regarded legal practice, this is a great opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a genuinely supportive and collaborative team. The firm has built a strong reputation locally for its client care and long-standing relationships, and they’re now looking to add an experienced professional who enjoys delivering thoughtful, high-quality advice.
This role would suit someone who wants autonomy over their caseload, while still being part of a close-knit team where development and progression are actively supported.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
* Advising on wills, estate planning, probate and estate administration
* Supporting clients with lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning
* Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, offering clear and empathetic advice
* Contributing to the development of the wider team, including mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
* Keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring compliance
* Supporting business development activity, including networking and building referral relationships
Skills & Experience Required
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales)
* Around 3+ years’ experience within private client
* Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong communication skills with a genuine focus on client care
* Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
* A proactive and adaptable approach
Desirable
* STEP qualification or working towards
* Experience contributing to business development activity

Hybrid working available, with 2–3 days in the office
