Job description We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the caring industry. This contract position involves providing in-person support to adults with brain injuries. The role includes writing and updating care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they are current and adhered to, and filling in daily logs and report sheets. The Support Worker will be responsible for completing Medication Administration Records (MARS) charts, delivering personal care according to the care plan, and preparing meals and drinks for clients as requested. In this position, the Support Worker will assist clients in fulfilling their care plans, stimulate and motivate them, and engage in leisure activities as outlined in their care plans. The role also involves light household duties together with the clients and aiding them in rehabilitation processes. Attendance at staff meetings and training sessions is mandatory, and maintaining confidentiality is essential at all times. Additionally, the Support Worker will be required to administer medication, and report any concerns to management.
