This is the perfect role for someone who thrives on variety and is looking for a foot in the door at one of the UK's most respected educational networks. As an "on-the-day" specialist, you will be the hero who steps in to ensure learning never stops.
The Role:
Unlike traditional teaching, there is no planning or marking involved. Your primary focus is classroom management and student engagement.
* Be Ready: Be available for early morning calls (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM) for same-day cover.
* Lead: Deliver pre-prepared lessons across the curriculum (Maths to Music, Science to Sociology).
* Manage: Ensure the school's behavior policy is followed, maintaining a calm and productive environment.
* Collaborate: Work alongside a supportive school leadership team within the MAT framework.
What You'll Need
* Ultimate Flexibility: This role is specifically for those who can accept bookings on short notice.
* Presence: A confident, "take-charge" personality with the ability to build rapport quickly with teenagers.
* Background: Experience working with children (coaching, youth work, or tutoring) is highly desirable.
* Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
