Join our dynamic team as a Senior Social Worker within the Early Intervention and Prevention Team at Telford and Wrekin Council. This is an exciting opportunity to earn £31.97 per hour on an Umbrella contract between 22 June 2026 and 31 August 2026. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (37 hours per week) with a fantastic hybrid model allowing you to work from home, the office, or at client locations. Responsibilities
* Complete Care Act Reviews and maximise health care funding, ensuring everything is up to the highest standards.
* Manage a professional social work caseload that requires expert handling and support.
* Engage actively in weekly peer review meetings to support case decision-making within an asset-based and Community Led Support framework.
* Conduct assessments, support planning, and reviews in line with relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
* Collaborate with individuals, families, and partner agencies to promote strengths-based approaches and safeguard vulnerable adults.
* Maintain meticulous records, engage in reflective practice, and continually update your knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practice.
* Support colleagues by sharing expertise and promoting a culture of learning and development.
