We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and experienced EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cambridge, starting ASAP. As an EYFS Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum. You will support children’s development across all areas of learning, including literacy, numeracy, communication, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional skills. You will also work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure children receive the guidance and support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality EYFS lessons Observe, assess, and track children’s progress across all areas of learning Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and support staff Maintain accurate assessment records and learning journals Promote positive behaviour, routines, and independence Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have recent experience teaching in EYFS or Reception Be caring, patient, and child-focused in approach Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and pedagogy Be creative, organised, and reflective in practice Be an effective communicator and collaborative team player Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children The school is located in Cambridge, with excellent transport links and a welcoming, friendly community.
