We're looking for a capable Full Stack Developer to join our team in Oxford. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, from database to UI, building and maintaining web applications on a modern cloud-native stack. This is an office‑based role suited to someone who enjoys collaborative, hands‑on development.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using Node.js and React.
* Model and manage relational data in PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimisation.
* Deploy and operate containerised services on Azure (AKS, Container Apps, or equivalent).
* Use GitHub Copilot effectively as part of your daily development workflow, including agent‑mode tasks.
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint ceremonies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable software.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Node.js (REST APIs, async patterns, TypeScript preferred).
* Solid React experience – component architecture, state management, hooks.
* PostgreSQL – query writing, indexing, migrations.
* Azure cloud services – deployments, storage, networking basics.
* Containers – Docker, and familiarity with orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS a plus).
* Confident use of GitHub Copilot, including agent mode and prompt‑driven workflows.
Nice to Have
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
* Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code (Bicep) and PowerShell scripting.
