You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, providing them with a mixed service across accounts, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping.
Our client is recruiting because of growth, and they're looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team as they grow further. They have a relaxed working environment with a flexible approach, and they offer a good work life balance too.
They are open to both full time and part-time applicants. Their clients are completely mixed, across a range of sectors and sizes from sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies through to multi-million-pound groups.
You will be responsible for:
1. Preparation of annual accounts and management accounts
2. Meetings with clients
3. Preparation of corporate tax returns
4. Partnership returns & individual self-assessment tax returns
5. Review and preparation of bookkeeping work, and VAT returns
6. Overseeing the work of more junior team members and supporting them accordingly
