Role Responsibilities: Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) Promote emotional regulation, independence, and life skills Help deliver engaging and structured lessons under teacher guidance Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff Manage challenging behaviour using positive reinforcement Provide personal care when needed What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH and/or ASD in an education or care setting A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach Strong teamwork and communication skills Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, NVQ) are desirable Willingness to undergo further training (e.g. autism awareness, behaviour support) Why Apply Through Zen Educate?Zen Educate is a trusted education staffing platform that helps educators find roles that suit their preferences and career goals.
