HLTA Opportunity - Southampton
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Southampton to recruit a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is ready to take on a varied and rewarding role within a supportive school environment. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality learning, leading small group interventions, and occasionally covering whole classes, ensuring continuity and engagement across the curriculum.
The ideal candidate will bring confidence, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils’ progress. You will be comfortable working across different year groups, supporting both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and contributing positively to the wider school community. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential, as you will be working closely with teaching staff to help raise attainment and provide targeted support where it is needed most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
