What You’ll Be Doing
* Develop and maintain manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts for mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
* Log and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, prioritization, and supporting visuals (screenshots or videos).
* Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand user journeys and technical requirements.
* Conduct regression, compatibility, performance, and exploratory testing across various devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
* Validate fixes and confirm resolution of reported issues.
* Help define and refine QA metrics and contribute to process improvements.
* Participate in release planning and provide input on potential risks.
* Support test automation initiatives and assist with managing test environments and data.
What We’re Looking For
* Hands‑on experience testing mobile apps on iOS and/or Android (using real devices or emulators).
* Solid grasp of mobile QA practices including functional, usability, compatibility, and performance testing.
* Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira, Trello, Zephyr, or TestRail.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear, concise defect reports and test cases.
* Exposure to mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) and basic scripting knowledge is a plus.
* Problem‑solving mindset, curiosity, and a collaborative attitude.
* Strong communication skills in English—both written and verbal.
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into build workflows.
* Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
* Awareness of accessibility testing and inclusive design principles.
* Familiarity with mobile performance testing and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
* 1–4 years of experience in mobile QA (multi‑platform experience is a plus).
* QA certifications are welcome but not required.
