Support Worker
Pay rate :£13.50 Days - £9.50 Sleep Rate(weekly or monthly pay available)
Shift Pattern: 10.00am till 10.00pm sleeping night Afternoon Shifts 15:00pm till 22.00pm
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and support an individual with complex care needs and learning disabilities who lives in their family home. This is a meaningful role where you will be enriching someones life, promoting independence, and becoming part of a supportive care environment.
This is a person-centred support role focused on providing high-quality care and creating positive, meaningful experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing day-to-day support that promotes social interaction, meaningful engagement, and overall, well-being.
Accompanying individuals on community outings and activities, offering encouragement and practical assistance.
Assisting with household tasks to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Communicating clearly and confidently in the individuals preferred style, fostering a strong and trusting relationship.
Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:
Proven experience supporting individuals with complex care needs.
Full UK Driving License
Naturally compassionate and caring, with strong resilience.
In-depth understanding of Autism, Epilepsy, and complex Mental Health conditions.
Skilled in supporting individuals who may present behaviours perceived as challenging.
Strong knowledge of person-centred care, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships.
Able to remain calm under pressure and communicate clearly, confidently, and respectfully.
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing each individuals quality of life.
