As a Category Manager based in our Warwick office on a hybrid basis, you’ll be responsible for:
* Driving the strategy on a range of products, responsible for all category supplier terms negotiations and managing your own categories.
* Identifying products that may form part of multiple customer strategies and ensure that an appropriate plan is in place to maximise inventory and stock performance; the range change process; provisions and the clearance of end-of-life stock
* Analysing data to understand trends and identify opportunities, awareness and analysis of main competitors and market landscape.
* Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, having a strategic and proactive approach to managing the supply base, whilst understanding the customers' needs.
This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday-Friday 40 hours a week.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
* Commercial/Category experience is essential.
* Technical knowledge of refrigeration or air conditioning is preferred.
* Able to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders at a range of different levels.
* Analytical skills to interpret complex information about market changes and competitor activity.
