We’re now looking for a Reporting & Central Costs Manager to join our Finance team at Toddington. What we offer: Up to 20% annual company performance related bonus 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Private medical insurance Contributory pension scheme Family discount scheme across Moto sites The role: Reporting into the Corporate Finance Controller, you’ll work closely with Central Support Department Heads, providing financial insight, challenge and support across central cost management and reporting. This role also has management responsibility for two direct reports and offers the opportunity to influence processes, improve reporting and contribute to wider finance projects. What you’ll be doing Central costs & fixed assets Partnering with Central Support Department Heads on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Managing IT capex, infrastructure spend and capital project budgets Ownership and quarterly updates of the bonus model Reviewing fixed asset reporting and supporting capital and IT reporting Reporting Preparing group management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow Consolidating group company results and analysing working capital movements Investigating variances to budget and presenting key insights at monthly review meetings Owning statutory and ONS reporting requirements Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and drive efficiencies Financial accounting Group company accounting, including intercompany loans, interest and amortisation Preparing balance sheet reconciliations Supporting audits and responding to requests from auditors and tax advisers Ad hoc analysis and finance projects About you You'll be a recently qualified accountant, with strong IT skills, in particular Excel. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise workload, have a strong attention to detail and be able to foster good cross-departmental working relationships. Qualified ACA or ACCA Strong financial accounting and reporting experience (practice or industry) Good working knowledge of FRS 102 Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data Highly organised, detail‑focused and able to prioritise competing deadlines A clear communicator who enjoys building effective cross‑department relationships Why join Moto?
