We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Engineering to join the team on a full time, permanent basis (part time hours/job share will be considered). In return,you will receive a competitive salary of £33,367 to £44,365 pro rata per annum (pay award pending). (Unqualified teachers £26,436 to £33,367 pro rata per annum.) About the role: As the Lecturer in Engineering, you will continually improve the learning experience and achievement of students through effective teaching. Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Engineering will include: Teaching on courses as agreed with the Head of Curriculum to give an inspirational experience to all learner groups Safeguarding and facilitating pastoral support where necessary to keep students safe and drive the very best outcomes and progression beyond/within the curriculum area Preparing and marking student work to provide constructive feedback that drives rates of progress and achievement Robustly tracking and monitoring progress towards individual targets When required, providing progress reports to parents/carers in line with assessment and reporting cycle Working closely with other colleagues to respond to the needs of students Paying due attention to the principles of inclusive learning including: individual learning styles and prior attainment; support for students with SEND; stretch and challenge for all learner groups based upon their start points; general resources, including the use of Information Learning Technology.
