Part of the Distribution Centre Management team that provides great service to our stores, ensuring customers have excellent product availability and standards by leading a team of colleagues who feel safe and enjoy working at Tesco, while operating an efficient and compliant operation.
1. Analyze data and information to establish root causes and implement corrective actions.
2. Deliver exceptional operational standards and ways of working across all areas during my shift.
3. Utilize transport systems to optimize routines and efficiencies.
4. Implement the transport improvement plan and build capability where needed.
5. Identify opportunities to improve transport efficiency and performance, engaging and supporting my team to achieve these.
6. Ensure the delivery of transport plans, KPIs, and resources to meet all KPIs and maintain the distribution centre's financial budget.
7. Champion change, share ideas, and deliver results.
8. Participate actively in the distribution centre community plan, generating and implementing ideas and encouraging my team to do the same.
9. Lead resource planning activities to ensure all hours are worked effectively to serve our stores.
10. Meet colleagues' needs by utilizing people routines and providing strong leadership.
11. Deliver operational routines and make customer-focused decisions.
12. Work in partnership with the distribution centre management team, balancing shared objectives and needs, demonstrating teamwork and leadership.
